Karimun Jawa is really a group of around 27 islands lying on 90 km from Jepara town in Central Java. This unforgettable marine park is not so easy to reach and the facility is limited. Though for those who are very interested in marine nature, the handicaps are nonsense. They will soon disappear as we see some islands in the blue water with nice beaches. The main island of Karimun Jawa has simple accommodation costs around 5 E till 10 E per room per night without breakfast. Anyhow in this main island where people of Karimun Jawa live has very few attractions to see. What you can do in this island is only watching fishermen in the morning selling their fishes after their whole-night working. Or in the afternoon, enjoy the beautiful sunset. The attraction is really not in this main island but in other islands such as snorkeling, enjoying the white beach and coral reefs but you can do these activities only by chartered small boat which cost around 30 E per day. By it you can go around and make stops in some beautiful islands. |
